Antepartum Ultrasounds
All our providers are proficient in performing basic obstetric and gynecologic ultrasounds in the office. We also offer in house anatomy ultrasounds and work closely with our local perinatologists.
Genetic Testing
Medical technology continues to expand at a rapid rate. We offer simple blood and salivary genetic testing as it pertains to prenatal care, pregnancy loss and certain hereditary cancer syndromes in addition to providing referrals to certified genetic counselors when indicated.
Hospital Based Births
All our providers maintain active privileges at MatSu Regional Medical Center where we work with a team of stellar nurses to perform both vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections.
We are committed to helping each patient have the birth experience she desires while keeping maternal and fetal safety as the top priority.

Miscarriage Management
Pregnancy loss is a difficult and emotional experience for women and their families. We are able to support our patients during these times by offering a variety of options which include safe supervision of expectant management, at home medical therapy, a short office based procedure or surgical management under anesthesia via D&C.
Operative Deliveries
Our providers are skilled in performing emergent interventions, when indicated, to facilitate the safe delivery of your baby including use of vacuum/forceps assistance. Dr. Cook and Dr. Schubert are skilled in vaginal and surgical deliveries.
Postpartum Care
Following the birth of your child we provide postpartum care at intervals customized to your needs. This can range from an uncomplicated experience to an emotionally complex time in women’s lives and we are here to help you transition through your unique experience back into routine preventative women’s health care.
Preconception Counseling
The overall outcome and health of a mother and baby begin before conception. Our providers are available for counseling in maximizing health before and at conception so that a pregnancy begins with the best framework.
We also are available to discuss contemplation of pregnancy with certain health conditions that you may be concerned would impact pregnancy and pregnancy management.
If you have questions regarding pregnancy in general or managing medical conditions during pregnancy, please make an appointment to discuss. The more knowledge you have going into a pregnancy the more empowered you are to impact the outcome.
Prenatal Care
Our providers specialize in the management of pregnancies for all women with low to high risk conditions. Though our practice styles are unique, we each base our recommendations on the most up to date national standards of care. This includes lab work, ultrasonography and consultation with our sub-specialist colleagues when indicated.
Recurrent Pregnancy Loss
For women who suffer from multiple miscarriages, we provide consultations and evaluate for a variety of medical conditions that contribute to a predisposition for recurrent pregnancy loss.
Through this workup, we hope to identify specific interventions available to help women achieve a successful term pregnancy, according to evidence based medicine.
